Advanced 3rd Day ArcView 3x

This class is a highly recommended 3rd day optional extension to the 2-day ESRI certified "Introduction to ArcView 3x" class or a stand alone class for people who have previous ArcView experience. The course will cover topics not covered in the two-day class and allow for more in-depth exploration of ArcView.

Topics Covered

  • Customizing ArcView's Buttons, Tools and Menus
  • Using existing Scripts that come with ArcView
  • Using ArcView extensions including Buffer, Projector, Overview, Map Tools, Dialog Designer, & Arc Press
  • Advanced Map Making Tips
  • Intersecting Themes, Merging Themes

Note:

Opportunity for Students to use their own Data for Analysis. Please inform the instructor if you would like to use your own data. Basic proficiency with ArcView 3x is assumed. For a description of what you are expected to know, please see Introduction to ArcView 3x.
