Advanced ArcGIS

This class is a highly recommended 1-day extension to the 2-day ESRI authorized “Introduction to ArcGIS for ArcView and ArcInfo” or "Migrating from ArcView 3x to ArcView 8". This course will cover topics not covered in the 2-day classes and allow for a more in-depth exploration of ArcGIS.

  • Creating and editing a geodatabase
  • A Closer look at ArcToolbox
  • Using the Geoprocessing and Buffer Wizards
  • Creating Metadata with ArcCatalog
  • Working with layers
  • Labels and Annotation
  • Creating and Editing Shapefiles in ArcMap
