3D Visualization of GIS data

This 1-day course examines a sampling of the plethora of 3D visualization software available. It is designed for the experienced GIS user who wants to get started using 3D visualization. Demonstrations of software include Microstation, 3D Studio Max, World Construction Set, Orton Foundations' CommunityViz, Evan's and Sutherlands' RAPIDsite and PhotoVista, and Erdas' Virtual GIS. Hands on exercises will include RAPIDsite, PhotoVista, and Virtual GIS.
