The National Center for Resource Innovations - Great Lakes (NCRI-GL) is located on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison). NCRI-GL is administered by the UW-Madison’s Land Information and Computer Graphics Facility (LICGF) as part of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, School of Natural Resources. LICGF is an interdisciplinary organization that attracts faculty and students from across campus, and professionals from a variety of public agencies and tribal governments from across Wisconsin and the Midwest. Our collective interests focus on the development and use of Land and Geographic Information Systems (LIS/GIS) applications for modernizing local government information systems, and for improving natural resource management, environmental assessment, and land-use planning and management.
