The USGS 3 arc-second digital elevation model (DEM) fro the 1:100,000 LaCrosse quadrangle was obtained via ftp connection to the USGS public access server. The original DEM was projected from UTM to WTM and clipped to create "ELEVS". The "ELEVS" DEM includes the entire watershed plus a small buffer. Elevations are stored in meters.
